STOCKHOLM, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- atNorth, the leading Nordic high-density colocation and built-to-suit data center provider, today announced that Fredrik Jansson will step down from his operational executive role as Chief Strategy and Marketing & Communications Officer due to health reasons and transition to the role of Senior Advisor to the company.

While Fredrik will be stepping back from day-to-day operational responsibilities, he will remain closely associated with atNorth and continue to contribute his experience, perspective and strategic insight as Senior Advisor.

Fredrik has played an instrumental role in the development of atNorth and made a lasting contribution to the company, its people and its progress.

"Fredrik has been instrumental in atNorth's journey and has made a lasting contribution to the company we are today," said Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, CEO, atNorth. "His strategic guidance, analytical rigor and ability to navigate complexity have strengthened countless important decisions and helped us grow and develop with confidence. He has also been an exceptional colleague and a trusted sparring partner, whose perspective has consistently made our discussions and decisions better. We are deeply grateful for the leadership, commitment and dedication he has shown throughout his time with the company. While we fully understand and support Fredrik's decision to step back from the demands of an operational executive role, we are particularly pleased that he will remain part of the atNorth family as Senior Advisor. We look forward to continuing to benefit from his experience, judgement and perspective."

Fredrik Jansson said:

"What an amazing ride it has been! I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together at atNorth and deeply grateful for the support, friendship and trust I have received from colleagues, partners and the Board. I am very pleased to continue my association with atNorth as Senior Advisor. This is the right decision for myself and my family and will allow me to focus on my health while continuing to support atNorth and its future."

In recognition of Fredrik's contribution to the company and in support of the cause that has affected him, atNorth will also make a donation to support research into Systemic Sarcoidosis.

"Beyond recognizing Fredrik's remarkable contribution to atNorth, we hope this donation can contribute, even in a small way, to advancing research and improving understanding of this rare disease," said Eva Sóley Guðbjörnsdóttir, Chief Financial Officer & Deputy CEO at atNorth.

Fredrik will continue to work closely with the executive team and the Board and to ensure a smooth transition, while remaining associated with atNorth in the role of Senior Advisor.
