The Platinum S-Line Advanced Modular System

The Platinum S-Line Advanced Modular System gives families the freedom to choose how their child progresses through each stage of the car seat journey. Starting with the Cloud S infant car seat, families can transition to the forward-facing Anoris S Airbag from 15 months. Alternatively, the Sirona S allows families to continue rear-facing for longer. The system is designed to make each transition intuitive, while maintaining a high level of protection and comfort as the child grows.

Cloud S: Designed for Safety of New Life

The infant car seat Cloud S is the beginning of the Platinum S-Line journey. Designed to grow with the child from birth up to approximately 2 years, the Cloud S adapts to the growing child while building on CYBEX’s proven safety legacy as the successor to the ADAC test-winning Cloud T (October 2023).4 Compared to its predecessor, the Cloud S is 10% lighter, 15% wider and 5% safer, combining enhanced protection with greater comfort and everyday usability. Outside the car, the Cloud S reclines into an ergonomic full lie-flat position, allowing children to rest in a more natural sleeping position that helps minimize organ compression. Suitable from 15 months to approximately 7 years, Anoris S Airbag features an integrated full-body airbag designed to provide advanced protection in forward-facing travel: in the event of a frontal crash, the integrated full-body airbag deploys within milliseconds, helping to protect the child's head, neck and upper body. With 3 out of 4 parents¹ posing a major safety risk by switching to a conventional forward-facing car seat too early, the Anoris S Airbag offers an alternative: designed to make advanced forward-facing safety easier to choose. Building on the legacy of the ADAC-awarded Sirona T (October 2023), it combines a 5-point harness with highest protection and intuitive functionality. Compared to its predecessor, it delivers 10% higher safety performance and a 40% greater recline range, helping children travel more safely and comfortably at every stage. When used rear-facing, the Sirona S provides up to 50% higher safety levels compared to the same seat forward-facing6. Its enhanced side-impact protection delivers 25% improved performance7, while an energy-absorbing shell helps redirect crash forces away from the child. As part of the Advanced Modular System, the Sirona S attaches to the Base S, allowing families to continue with trusted rear-facing travel after the Cloud S and giving them the freedom to choose the direction of travel that best suits them.

Solution S: The Perfect Solution

The final stage of the Platinum S-Line journey is Solution S, the high-back booster car seat designed to grow with children from approximately 3 to 12 years of age. As the successor to the ADAC test-winning Solution T (October 2023)8, it combines more than 20 years of CYBEX research and expertise with comfort and protection for the later stages of childhood. Delivering 15% higher safety performance than its predecessor, Solution S features a reclining headrest that helps prevent the child’s head from tipping forward during sleep, making this high-back booster seat 7 times safer9 in side-impact collisions. Its height and width adjust simultaneously, with 12 height settings and automatic width adjustment, ensuring a comfortable, tailored fit as the child grows. For added comfort and protection from the elements, the Style model features an integrated XXL UPF50+ sun canopy.
