LONDON, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Elliott Investment Management L.P. and Elliott Advisors (UK) Limited ("Elliott"), which advise funds that together hold a significant economic interest in L'Air Liquide S.A. ("Air Liquide" or the "Company"), today issued the following statement in connection with the Company's 2026 Capital Markets Day:

"Elliott welcomes the value-creating initiatives announced on Monday as part of Air Liquide's new strategic plan, including its target to improve margins by 400 to 600 basis points by 2030 and its first-ever large share buyback, which we believe should start immediately. The Company's targets for annual growth of 5% in revenue and 10% in EPS through 2030 highlight the strength of its business and the opportunities in AI, electronics, healthcare and space.

We view these announcements as a positive first step, with targets that reflect the Company's traditionally prudent approach and leave room for significant outperformance. Elliott looks forward to continued constructive dialogue with Air Liquide as the Company works to close the margin and valuation gaps with peers and create long-term shareholder value."
