LONDON, UK (28 MAY 2026): HARRY’S AND COMEDIAN ASIM CHAUDHRY LAUNCH THE “DIAL UP

THE FEEL GOOD CAMPAIGN”, A HOTLINE TO ENCOURAGE MEN TO CHECK IN THIS FATHER’S

DAY

New Harry’s research with YouGov reveals humour, football banter, memes and small

everyday messages have become an emotional shorthand for modern British men.

Harry’s has partnered with comedian and actor Asim Chaudhry to launch the The Feel Good

Hotline, a public interactive installation encouraging men to reconnect through the small, everyday

moments that often mean the most.

Launching ahead of Father’s Day, the “Dial Up The Feel Good” campaign explores the subtle

and often indirect ways men show affection today, from football scores and bad jokes to

quick calls, memes and low-pressure check-ins.

New YouGov research commissioned by Harry’s among 2,000 UK men reveals that humour,

banter and small everyday interactions play an important role in how many men show

affection and stay connected:

● More than half (56%) of UK men say humour or “banter” makes emotional conversations

easier, while 41% say sending a funny meme or video is their way of saying “I’m thinking of

you” without making things feel too serious.

● The open responses revealed that many men express care through small, everyday

messages rather than overt emotional language from “Did you see the result last night?”

and “Fancy a pint?” to practical check-ins like “Need anything from the shop?” or “Hope the

back’s alright.”

● The findings also point to a generational shift in how men communicate emotionally. Seven

in ten (70%) men say they are more likely than their own father or father figure to ask their

children how they are really doing, while 67% say they are more likely to openly say “I love

you” to their children.

To bring the campaign to life, Harry’s and Asim Chaudhry are launching the Feel Good Hotline, a

large-scale public mural and interactive phone installation at Shoreditch’s iconic Great Eastern Art

Wall, live from 28th May - 7th June 2026.

Passersby are invited to pick up the phone and hear messages, jokes and prompts voiced by Asim

before leaving a voicemail for their dad, father figure or someone they care about… whether that’s a

joke, a football dig, a memory or a simple “just checking in.”

The hotline has been designed to feel light-hearted, funny and low-pressure, reflecting the real

ways many men naturally communicate with each other — through humour, shared references,

practical check-ins and small everyday moments.

The Feel Good Hotline will also live digitally at feelgoodhotline.com, where visitors can hear

additional messages, stories and prompts designed to spark conversation and encourage people to

reach out in whatever way feels natural to them.

For Asim, the campaign arrives at a particularly meaningful moment in his life, having recently

become a first-time father:

“Becoming a dad has definitely changed the way I think about connection and showing up for the

people you care about. It’s made the whole idea behind this campaign feel really personal to me.

I think a lot of men feel like reaching out has to become some big serious conversation, when

actually it’s often the small stuff that means the most.

That’s what I liked about the Feel Good Hotline. It takes the pressure off and makes checking in feel

lighter, easier and more natural. Sometimes a two-minute phone call or a dumb joke genuinely can

make someone’s day.”

“We know checking in with someone you care about can sometimes feel awkward, or like you need

to find the perfect thing to say. But our research showed that the moments people appreciate most

are often the simplest - a quick message, a small gesture, or just knowing someone’s thinking of you.

Sometimes meaningful connection is just taking a moment to reach out, and that small check-in

can make a real difference.”

As part of the campaign, Harry’s is partnering with men’s mental fitness charity Talk Club,

supporting the organisation through a donation that will help sustain four Talk Club groups for a

year. This will create 2,080 spaces for men to open up, alongside more than 4,000 hours of

powerful conversations where men can connect, be heard, and improve their mental fitness.

The campaign will run across PR, social and creator activity throughout the Father’s Day period,

with the mural live in Shoreditch from 28 May – 7 June 2026.
