Assan Alüminyum expands its manufacturing footprint to North America through its US subsidiary

ISTANBUL and CHICAGO, April 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Assan Alüminyum, one of the two largest aluminum foil producers in Europe and a leading flat rolled aluminum manufacturer, has acquired an aluminum foil production facility in West Virginia, USA, through its subsidiary Kibar Americas. With this acquisition, Assan Alüminyum becomes a local producer in the United States, further strengthening its position in the global aluminum industry.

Haluk Kayabaşı, CEO of Kibar Holding, emphasized that the investment represents a key milestone in the Group's long-term globalization vision:

We will begin a detailed evaluation of all options for the future use of the facility.
