VANCOUVER, BC, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- (TSX: LUN) (Nasdaq Stockholm: LUMI) Lundin Mining Corporation ("Lundin Mining" or the "Company") provides a further update on operations at its Caserones and Candelaria mines in Chile's Atacama Region, following last week's severe winter storm, which brought heavy rainfall at lower elevations and unusually heavy snowfall at higher altitudes.

The Caserones mine has been without power since July 18^th and following infrastructure assessments conducted after the storm, damage to two powerline towers serving the Caserones operation have been identified. Crews have been mobilized and are working to repair the damaged powerline towers, with full power restoration and gradual restart of operations at Caserones anticipated to take approximately two to three weeks. Backup generators continue to support critical site infrastructure in the interim. Employees at site have been safely rotated with new crews while access roads are progressively reopened. The Company will continue monitoring the situation and provide further updates as repairs progress and operations resume.

Mining operations at Candelaria were briefly impacted by heavy rainfall; however, the mill continued to operate using existing ore stockpiles, mining operations have since returned to full capacity.
