10th July 2026: Nestlé is launching Common Ground, an interactive activation at the 167th Great Yorkshire Show, inviting visitors to explore healthier soil and British farms connects to the food that they eat.

Taking place from Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th July 2026, between 8am and 6pm each day, Nestlé’s Common Ground will be located in the Picnic Area next to the Foodhall at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

The activation will bring Nestlé’s commitment to regenerative farming practices to life. At Common Ground, visitors will be able to explore the importance of soil biodiversity through a large-scale KitKat build, play interactive games that show how regenerative farming works, and discover what matters most to them when choosing the food on their plate.

The space will also include a relaxed seating area, giving visitors a place to unwind and take in the views across the showground.

The Great Yorkshire Show is one of the UK’s leading agricultural events, celebrating the best of Yorkshire farming, food and rural life across four days.

In York, Nestlé has been making its iconic KitKat for more than 90 years, with up to 4 million bars produced every day using 100% British milk from dairy cooperative, First Milk. Supported by 2,000 people on its York campus, the site plays an important role in the local economy and the wider UK supply chain.

That local connection is underpinned by Nestlé’s 22-year strong partnership with First Milk, which supports farmers in Ayrshire and Cumbria to implement regenerative practices, reduce emissions, while improving biodiversity and soil health.

As well as using 1% of all milk produced in the UK in Nestlé’s confectionery and coffee, Nestlé is also building on its commitment to regenerative agriculture through its latest partnership with Wildfarmed, which will see 51% regenerative wheat used in the 1.5 billion KitKat bars made at its York factory each year.
