O2, the UK's best network for mobile coverage* and long-term partner of England Rugby, has renamed The O2 to The Rose2 and taken over three O2 Academy venues to congratulate the huge success of the Red Roses following their historic Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 victory against Canada.

The Red Roses’ historic victory crowns them world champions for the third time, firmly cementing their legacy in sporting history. To mark this extraordinary achievement, The O2, renowned as the world’s most popular live entertainment, leisure, and retail destination, has unveiled the Rose2 logo in honour of the team’s new status as national icons. The tribute will be visible to guests attending Lady Gaga’s upcoming show, an artist globally celebrated for her dedication to empowering women and championing their success, making the moment especially poignant.

The support demonstrates O2's long standing commitment to growing the women’s game, highlighted by its industry-leading parity pledge that provides equal funding to both the men’s and women’s England Rugby teams. This gesture marks the culmination of a series of initiatives by O2 to celebrate the Red Roses’ winning the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. The brand recently unveiled a new social-led advert featuring Chloe Kelly, wrapped the winners' bus for the players to travel to the victory celebration event and launched a bespoke Red Roses rugby shirt in collaboration with sustainable British designer, Panna.Reworks worn by the Red Roses during the celebration parade.
