This Pancake Day, two icons are flipping tradition… In a debut collaboration, British coffee house Black Sheep Coffee and Lyle’s Golden Syrup are remixing Pancake Day to unveil a new seasonal sensation: The Pancake Syrup Latte.

Launching into Black Sheep Coffee stores nationwide from 11 February – 4 March, the Pancake Syrup Latte will be available served hot or over ice – for the golden taste of pancakes in a limited-time drink.

The exclusive recipe blends a double shot of 100% Robusta speciality coffee with Lyle’s Golden Syrup, mixed with steamed milk – finished with freshly squirty cream and a golden syrup drizzle.

Olivia Haley at Lyle’s said: “Golden Syrup and Pancake Day go hand in hand. It’s a beloved classic with over half a million packs of Lyle's Golden Syrup flying off shelves each year. We started with the traditional flavours everyone knows, then asked: ‘what if Pancake Day lived in a latte?’ The result feels familiar, but totally fresh.”

Georgia Roads, Head of Marketing at Black Sheep added: “This isn’t your usual pancake stack. We’re known for creating signature drinks and indulgent seasonal drops. That’s exactly what we’re serving with Lyle’s for a golden culture drop, not just a drink”.

To celebrate Pancake Day, fans can enjoy a Pancake Syrup Latte for just £1.00 during the ‘Golden Hour’ from 7:30–8:30 am on 17 February. Available at Black Sheep Coffee nationwide, exclusively via the Black Sheep Coffee app.
